Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, why, and how to control them.
Last updated: 1 May 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site operator. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixel tags, work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
2. How we use cookies on this site
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage required for the site to function. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or third-party social-media pixels at this time.
Through our cookie banner you can also opt in to additional categories (analytics and marketing). These are reserved for tools we may add in the future, and they will only be loaded if and when you give consent.
3. Cookies and storage we set
3.1 Strictly necessary
- vrone-cookie-consent(local storage): records your choice in our cookie banner so we don't prompt you again. Retained until you clear it via your browser, or for up to 12 months, whichever comes first.
3.2 Analytics
None at this time.
3.3 Marketing
None at this time.
4. Third-party services that may set cookies elsewhere
Our hosting provider (Netlify) and our forms infrastructure may receive your IP address and request metadata as part of normal web operation and abuse prevention; this is described in our Privacy Policy. These do not set marketing cookies on your device.
5. Managing your choices
You can change your cookie preferences at any time:
- Click the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page, or open them here:
- Use your browser's settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
6. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy if we change the cookies we use or add new third-party services. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. If we add categories that require consent, we will ask for your consent again.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies or this policy can be sent to contact@vroneinternational.com. The data controller is Vrone International, Unipessoal Lda., NIPC 518760499.
